Every formula is developed and produced by Citozeatec S.r.l., the laboratory founded in 2006 near Milan, Italy. Research and development is led by Pasquale Ferorelli, who brings more than thirty years of work in sequential enzymatic conversion biotechnology. Learn more about the company on citozeatecsrl.ch (in Italian).
Yes. Citozeatec S.r.l. holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for the research, development and production of dietary supplements, and its facility is listed in the U.S. FDA Food Facility Registration. Registration is not an approval: the FDA does not approve or endorse dietary supplements. See the certifications page of the Italian site.
Basic research on the sequential enzymatic method has been carried out with Italian and international universities, including the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Publications are collected on the Citozeatec publications page (in Italian).
Citozeatec USA Inc, based in Clearwater, Florida, is the American home of the Citozeatec formulas: we sell and ship them across the United States. The formulas themselves are developed and made by Citozeatec S.r.l. (citozeatecsrl.ch).
No. Citozeatec formulas are dietary supplements (CITOVET is a veterinary product for animals). They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Selected vitamins and enzymatic substrates obtained from non-GMO corn starch through sequential enzymatic conversion. The full ingredient list of each formula is on its product page and on the label.
No. They are made using enzymes: in a multi-step process, enzymes convert the raw material into substrates designed to be recognized and used by the body’s own enzymes.
Enzymes are proteins that act as catalysts for the biochemical reactions of every living organism, including the human body. Their structure is extremely complex and is studied with specialized techniques such as X-ray crystallography, which Citozeatec uses in its research.
Yes, in water or any drink you like, as long as it is not carbonated or alcoholic. The exception is PROBIOTIC P-450: take it on its own, not mixed into a drink, so the drink does not change its pH and affect the live cultures. Directions for each formula are on its product page and on our How to use page.
That is normal: PROBIOTIC P-450 is a living product, so its texture can vary slightly from stick to stick. The formula does not change.
Some people notice temporary digestive changes, such as more intestinal gas, in the first days. If discomfort persists, stop using the product and talk to your healthcare provider.
If you are pregnant or nursing, or before giving a formula to a child, talk to your healthcare provider first.
Yes: CITOVET is a veterinary product, intended for animal use only.
